sorry for not posting recently.  I've been sick a lot the past few months.  Today, I was actually feeling well, though.  so I decided to open up SAI and start working on another picture.  I went downstairs to get something to drink and to rinse out a dirty bowl and put it in the dishwasher when I slipped on some water in the floor.  I struggled to keep my footing but to no avail.  toppling backwards, the bowl flew out of my hand and into the air, smacking me squarely in the face.  It must have thought itself such a clever bowl.  Surely, it would break my face and remain unscathed.  But alas, 'twas not meant to be.  The bowl hit may glasses in such a way that it shattered and splintered around me.

My face, while mostly unscathed, received quite a gash under my right eye.  I passed out for a few seconds, as people do when being pummeled about the head with blunt objects.  when I awoke there was blood everywhere.  It dripped off my cheek onto the floor and into my throat.  It was highly unpleasant.  Honestly though, I couldn't feel anything from the shock of the incident.  So imagine my surprise when I walked into the living room and my brother uttered, "holy crap..."

The cut wasn't really all that bad.  All head wounds just bleed a lot.  I do have a black eye, though.  And honestly, I'm still a bit light-headed form the incident.  I did get a pretty princess bandage to make me all better. ^^ Hopefully, it doesn't leave a scar.

Anyway, that's the story of how I broke a bowl with my face.  i probably won't be updating today.  I'm very tired and woozy. so... sorry. -_- I'll try again tomorrow.

n fact, it makes me feel more so, and here's why: Say you've worked for years attempting to better yourself. You're a person, which thoughts, feelings, emotions, all that good stuff. And everyone who comes o your page ignores everything you've worked so hard on just to send you a generic, self-promotional "thanks for the fave!"

It makes you not a person. You're simply a sounding board for random other "thanks for the fave" people to say, "Hey! That icon looks nice! Maybe I should go there instead!"

I am a person. Maybe my work isn't something you care for. But I am a living, breathing person. If oyu had any respect at all for the people who favorite your work, you'd at least give them a llama or comment on a picture. But you're far too buy for that, aren't you? Instead, you clutter up our front pages with your blanket comments and go on your way. how does that make anyone's day a little brighter?

Ignoring my work, and all of my polite requests not to be thanked for favorites, really doesn't make me feel less isolated.
